MINI-AUDIT

Veriff: three revenue signals from the outside

Prepared by Bess Childs using the Revenue Signal Audit framework.

Checked on 19 October 2026. Everything here comes from Veriff's public site on that date. None of it can see inside the funnel, so each point ends with the question I would ask first.

1. Lead-to-Revenue Plumbing

Between the Enterprise threshold and the usage cap

What's public

The Enterprise plan is described as best for 5,000+ verifications a month, and its card offers both "Talk to sales" and a 15-day free trial that opens self-serve signup (pricing page). The self-serve usage terms cap accounts at 10,000 sessions a month and direct customers who expect to exceed that to request an Order Form (pricing FAQ, usage limitations).

Why it matters

The public usage terms direct customers expecting to exceed 10,000 sessions a month to request an Order Form. They do not describe what happens between the Enterprise threshold of 5,000+ verifications and that usage cap. The two figures also use different units: the threshold counts verifications, the cap counts sessions, and the FAQ says retries are not billed. I would treat the seam between self-serve adoption and sales qualification as a hypothesis to test.

What I'd check first

When a self-serve account passes 5,000 verifications a month, what routes it to sales, and how is that opportunity attributed?
2. Signal-to-Action Velocity

The A/B test offer

What's public

Seven competitor comparison pages (Onfido, Sumsub, Jumio, Persona, Incode, AU10TIX and ID-Pal) each offer a live A/B test against the buyer's current provider (Veriff vs Persona); the full list is in the site footer. On the Persona page, the "Talk to us" and "Put us to the test" offers point to separate on-page destinations.

Why it matters

A buyer on a comparison page asking for a head-to-head test is about as high-intent as inbound gets. How much of that intent converts would depend on speed to first call, which is not visible from outside.

What I'd check first

Are A/B test requests tracked as their own lead source, and what is the time from request to first call?
3. Source of Truth

Two motions, one number

What's public

Pricing in the main navigation leads to self-serve plans starting at a $49 monthly minimum, while Enterprise runs through sales (pricing page). Veriff's 3 June 2026 CRO announcement says the mandate includes sharpening the ideal customer profile in the high-value enterprise segment and building tighter operating rhythms across Sales, Account Management, Marketing, Product and Operations (announcement).

Why it matters

Sharpening an enterprise profile usually depends on seeing which self-serve and sales-led accounts look alike as they grow. That is easiest with pipeline and revenue for both motions in one view. Whether Veriff already reports this way is not visible from outside.

What I'd check first

Can RevOps report self-serve revenue and sales-led pipeline from the same system, by segment?

These are the questions I would bring to the first 90 days. The full 16-question Revenue Signal Audit is at revenuesignalaudit.com.
